This is to present the Policy for Safety Management of the medicinal products, devices and related products (hereinafter referred to as "products") of Tanabe Pharma Group. This policy is applicable to all staff involved in the safety management activities for all Tanabe Pharma Group’s products.
- Tanabe Pharma Group will strive to ensure the safety of all patients, implement effective post-marketing vigilance and risk minimization and promote and encourage proper use of our products throughout their lifecycles. By doing this, Tanabe Pharma Group will also provide patients with reassurance and gain trust from the healthcare professionals.
- At all times Tanabe Pharma Group will act in an ethical manner and comply fully with all relevant laws, regulations and guidelines, to ensure compliant and effective safety management of our products.
- Tanabe Pharma Group will develop the safety management system based on the global standard operating procedures. Tanabe Pharma Group will employ and retain the required safety staff and provide them with the necessary education and training, to ensure provision of the highest quality of safety information.
Tanabe Pharma Corporation will structure and maintain the appropriate Global Safety Headquarters and associated operations to deliver these activities.
